Strat Vault Is Open: Real Terrain, Grid References, Callouts
Members-only and live: the Strat Vault — a real map of Bakurani you can drop callouts on, propose names for, and actually read positions off.
What's on it
- Real terrain, not a placeholder grid — background imagery used with permission from Apollyon's WARDOGS Artillery Calculator (MIT-licensed, credited on the map itself).
- Grid references — lettered columns, numbered rows, like a real map sheet. Call out "hold D6" instead of reading out four-digit coordinates.
- Reference towers — ten known tower positions plotted (five active, five abandoned), toggle either set on or off from the map controls.
- Callouts — click the map, drop a labelled point with notes. Delete your own, officers can clean up anyone's.
- Place naming — think a location deserves a real name instead of "Abandoned TWR 3"? Propose one, the community upvotes, an officer approves it onto the map with your handle attached.
- Zoom — mouse wheel with ctrl/cmd, or the +/− controls, scales up to 300%.
Everything on it is community-sourced and marked as such — nothing invented, nothing presented as more official than it is. Go stake out some callouts.
