Structured, sortable prices now live at the ammo table — this page stays as the explanatory writeup.
Ammunition is bought separately, by calibre, rather than coming with the weapon.
Observed prices
Twelve calibres were on sale at the vendor in the closed alpha. These are the FMJ tab
only — Flesh Damage (HP) and Armour Piercing (AP) are separate tabs with their own
prices, and nobody has captured those yet.
| Calibre | FMJ price |
|---|---|
| 9x19mm | $10 |
| .45 ACP | $10 |
| 5.56x45mm | $15 |
| 5.45x39mm | $15 |
| .50 AE | $20 |
| 7.62x54mm | $30 |
| .45 Colt | $33 |
| 7.62x39mm | $40 |
| .308 | $40 |
| .50 Cal | $250 |
| 9x39mm | not observed |
| 12.7x55mm | not observed |
Treat these prices with suspicion
Two problems, both worth understanding before you plan a loadout budget around them:
- The source notes that five weapon prices were read under a −50% "new recruit"
discount, without recording which five. The same discount may well apply to ammunition. - Bulkhead have never published a price list for anything. All of this is observation from a
pre-release build that is explicitly not the shipping game.
What's missing
No public source has penetration, damage or muzzle velocity for any calibre. That matters
because muzzle velocity is what drives bullet drop and travel time, and without it the
Rangefinder cannot work out holdover for a weapon. Those numbers have to
come from the game itself — either datamined from the build or measured on a range.
If you can supply them, they go straight into the tools. See contributing.
